Initial In-Home Consulation

Where your dog’s journey to better health and mobility begins

This comprehensive 90-minute consultation is the essential first step for all new clients.
Taking place in your dog’s home environment, this session allows for a calm, thorough and personalised assessment of your dog’s overall health, movement, behaviour and lifestyle.

During the consultation, we will explore your dog’s history, vet diagnosis, current concerns and goals, while observing movement, posture, comfort levels and behavioural patterns. This holistic approach helps identify underlying factors that may be impacting your dog’s wellbeing — whether physical, nutritional or emotional.

Based on this assessment, you will receive tailored recommendations and a clear plan moving forward. This may include support with mobility and rehabilitation, nutrition, behaviour, senior care, post-operative recovery or general wellbeing.

This session is required as the first appointment for all services, ensuring that any ongoing support is appropriate, effective and fully customised to your dog’s individual needs.
My aim is to create a calm, supportive experience where both you and your dog feel understood, confident and cared for from the very beginning.

Meet some of my pawsome patients

Ash red light.jpg

Ash, 12 years

Ash is a gentle 12-year-old who came in with no formal diagnosis, but his family had noticed he was slowing down and becoming less active. They chose to support him proactively with regular fortnightly treatments to help maintain his mobility and comfort. Over time, Ash showed wonderful improvements—moving more freely and with renewed confidence. He began enjoying longer walks again, jumping back up on the couch, and even rediscovering his playful side with other dogs. It’s been a joy to see him regain his spark and quality of life.

Millie after massage.jpg

Millie, 4 years

Milly is a super excited, mega playful Golden Retriever who loves nothing more than being active and out on adventures. Her owner first noticed intermittent lameness, but after initial anti-inflammatory treatment, her condition worsened and led to a CCL rupture requiring surgery. Following this, she began weekly sessions incorporating red light therapy and kinesiology taping to support her recovery. With consistent care, Milly made fantastic progress and was back enjoying the beach within just three months. She now continues with monthly maintenance sessions to support her strength and help prevent injury to her other knee.

Sarge and me.png

Sarge, 6 years

From Sarge's mum:

"We had used Christina's myofunctional services for a few years and re-enlisted her for a food plan to switch our dogs to a raw diet when our Lab pup had elbow dysplasia. As a very happy side effect, our Mastiff, who had suffered for years with ear infections, had no more issues. We spent years and $1000's on vets and specialists. 8 weeks into our raw feeding journey, his ears cleared up and we haven't looked back. We now have 3 dogs on a full raw diet - as per our plan from Christina and only visit the vet for their regular check ups."

Annie, 2 years

Annie is a sensitive, timid little dog whose owner wanted to help her feel more confident out in the world. As her anxiety grew, she began to show reactivity towards other dogs, signalling that something deeper needed support. Through gentle aromatherapy—guided by Annie’s self-selection instincts—we were able to work through underlying stress and past experiences, alongside a thorough physical assessment that uncovered a few key issues. Once these were addressed, we focused on building her confidence with targeted exercises tailored to her needs. Her mum also learned how to support Annie with calm, structured “happy walks” and how to respond around other dogs, helping Annie feel safer and more secure

Alfie.png

Alfie, 8 years

Alfie, bandana model, Instagram influencer and CEO of alfies_pack, came in as his mum sensed something wasn’t quite right, During the initial consultation, I identified a problem in his right shoulder that was affecting his movement. With a series of weekly sessions, we saw clear improvement in his comfort and mobility. We then reduced to fortnightly sessions over the following month and Alfie now continues with monthly maintenance treatments to keep him moving freely and thriving.

Ruby.png

Ruby-Rose, 11 years

Ruby, an 11-year-old, had been experiencing intermittent lameness in her left foreleg for a long time. Despite multiple vet visits and various diagnostic tests, the underlying issue remained unclear, and when her pain became unmanageable, the difficult decision was made to amputate her leg.

We supported Ruby both before and after surgery, focusing on pre-hab to prepare her body and rehab to help her adjust and regain strength as a tripod. Alongside this, we made important

Ruby’s journey is a powerful reminder that true recovery goes far beyond surgery alone—it requires a holistic approach that considers the dog’s body, environment, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.

Lilah, 6 years

Lilah had struggled with skin issues, yeast infections, and allergies her entire life. Despite steroids, monthly Cytopoint injections, and weekly medicated washes, her symptoms persisted and often worsened seasonally.

This was a clear case where we needed to look beyond symptoms—focusing on her diet, identifying environmental triggers, and restoring her gut biome with targeted supplements. I created a detailed weekly food plan with precise measurements and preparation guidelines for her parents to follow.

Thanks to their consistency, Lilah’s symptoms have completely resolved—and best of all, she no longer needs those constant medicated baths

Sonny in Haqihana.jpg

Sonny, 18 months

Sonny was diagnosed with hip dysplasia, and while we supported him with targeted physical therapies, it quickly became clear that a broader approach was needed. We adjusted his walking gear and technique to better support his joints, and looked closely at his environment—especially as he lives and travels in a van with his mum.

This also meant creating a practical, travel-friendly diet that could be managed with limited fridge space while still meeting his nutritional needs. By making these combined changes, we’ve been able to support Sonny in staying active, comfortable, and set up for a long, fulfilling life despite his condition.
